  • Highlight - Atlanta came alive on Sept. 21 with McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration® Sunday—a one-day, multi-stage event blending gospel, soul, podcasts, and food in a celebration of joy, faith, and culture.

  • Context - This Sunday gathering featured a powerhouse lineup of talent including BJ the Chicago Kid, Annatoria, Childlike CiCi, Crystal Renee Hayslett of Keep It Positive, Sweetie, India Shawn, Kenyon Dixon, Nathan Davis Jr., Lee Vasi, Dante Pride, Ryan Catchings & Tysean Jackson of Hardly Initiated, Willie Moore Jr., DJ CANVA$, Choir Rehearsal with Friends, Urban Trivia, and more. Guests also experienced Chef’s Remix curated by Chef Scotley Innis, mixing flavors with inspiration.

What stood out most was the warmth, authenticity, and faith-centered encouragement threaded throughout the day. Nathan Davis Jr.’s performance of “Woke Up This Morning,” written with his mother, radiated gratitude and joy. Lee Vasi’s family’s warmth and her mother’s prophecy over her life reminded everyone that God’s calling often shines from the very beginning. Childlike CiCi urged the audience to not only fast and pray but to stay in the Word—a reminder we captured and shared on our socials. Conversations with Hardly Initiated, Lecrae, Dante Pride, and Christian comedian Carlton Jones added depth, while Chef Innis offered wellness insights to nourish the body and spirit.

Tips/Key Take-A-Ways

  • Feed Your Soul Daily – Whether through music like Nathan Davis Jr.’s “Woke Up This Morning” or Scripture, what we consume shapes us. Start your day with words and sounds that align with peace and gratitude.

  • Stay Rooted in God’s Word – Childlike CiCi’s encouragement was timely: prayer and fasting are vital, but the anchor is always God’s Word. Staying rooted keeps us steady when the world wobbles.

  • Love Shows Up in Families – Lee Vasi’s story reminded us that God’s love often first flows through family. Reflect on how your family (biological or chosen) has spoken life into you—and how you can do the same for others.
