Kira LaSeay Pugh:
A 2025 Grad with Quiet Power and Giant Impact

At HipHopTruth.com, we celebrate authenticity, vision, and the next generation of trailblazers. This graduation season, we salute Kira—a 2025 graduate who represents everything powerful about humility in motion.  Like many grads, Kira has a lot to face and achieve, ways to support her are included here and we are happy to do so.
With a GPA consistently soaring well above 4.0, Kira has balanced excellence in academics with leadership on and off the court. A standout community service minded debutante for the pink and green FFL Foundation's Strands of Elegance Cotillion, a constantly growing, evolving varsity tennis player and senior cheer captain, she’s also represented her state on an elite All-Star Cheer Team. Her drive is matched only by her grace.

What many don’t know is that Kira has spent the past several years quietly building legacy rooted foremost within her deep faith in Christ.  We've seen her firsthand working backstage during summers as a young humble leader helping to coordinate fan contests and grand prize celebrations for fans of GRAMMY winning artists.  As a company co-founder of Kidz Mic with thousands of Spotify listeners over the years, a celebrated teen author, and interviewer of music legends and icons including The Isley Brothers, Anthony Hamilton, Canton Jones, Congressman John Lewis, and Kirk Franklin, Kira has used her voice not to boast—but to uplift. She’s brought light, questions, and presence to the mic, all while keeping it quiet in the hallways of her school.
